scrotum model

The other night we had a little boy come in with a lacerated scrotum - he'd fallen onto a drum kit. It was stitched up in theatre, but yesterday one of the sutures came out, and he returned. The doctors were happy enough to just leave it heal by itself, but the mother was not happy.
"I can't have him with a nasty scar for the rest of his life!" was her argument.
I don't know what kind of scrotums she's been used to, but I don't think a scar there is going to be all that noticeable.
And if it was? Surely, unless the kid's going to be a scrotum model, does it really matter?
